The Adelaide Roots and Blues Association was formed in Adelaide, South Australia in 2013 and was incorporated on the 4th of December, 2014. It has not-for-profit status and the following broad aims:

*To support and promote South Australian roots and blues artists locally, nationally and internationally 

*To promote and foster a wider appreciation of roots and blues music

The Honey Badgers make the Finals of the 2023 International Blues Challenge!

On the 28th of January 2023, representing the Adelaide Roots and Blues Association, The Honey Badgers became only the second Australian band in the 38 year history of the event to make the finals of the International Blues Challenge!
The video below is their full performance in the finals at The Memphis Orpheum Theatre in glorious 4K + multitrack audio!

One of South Australia’s gem stones of  musicianship, and embracing a strong  sense of community, Chris Finnen is often  referred to as the ‘guitarist’s guitarist’.  Chris is proud to be the patron of the  Adelaide Roots and Blues Association.
