2023 was a big year for veteran Melbourne 5-piece blues band Rod Paine & the Fulltime Lovers. They made their Bluesfest Debut, played the Wangaratta Jazz & Blues Festival and released their album "Dirt on Velvet". The album currently sits near the top of the Australian Blues and Roots Airplay Chart.
2024 is already shaping up to be another big year for the band. In May they will play Blues on Broadbeach and in March they will play in Adelaide for the very first time, for the Adelaide Roots & Blues Association! This one-off show will be the SA launch of their new album "Dirt on Velvet".
