Prospect Blues & Roots Music Session With The Streamliners
Blues night at Payinthi featuring The Streamliners and Youth In Blues band mentored by Adelaide Roots & Blues Association.
The Streamliners need no introduction, they are an Australian institution of blues, soul and roots music. They have won countless awards as a band and as individual artists and have supported many international artists including Buddy Guy, Junior Wells and Charlie Musselwhite to name a few over their 20-year existence.
The Streamliners pride themselves on song writing and live performance, their music conjures images of vast rural landscapes and the urban fabric of social life with influences and comparisons made to artists including Van Morrison, Allman Brothers, Bob Dylan and John Lee Hooker. They are a group continually striving to take that extra step and push the envelope of roots music!
The Streamliners have lots of musical mileage to inspire long-time fans and newcomers alike with their electric and elusive brew of bluesy, folk, rock experimental music.
This is going to be an outstanding and unforgettable night of live music and musicianship not to be missed!
